Summer Evenings

17.08.2025.

We have all watched sunsets dress up summer evenings many times: clouds giving texture to the sky, shades surfacing as the sun drops, sailboats rocking on small waves, sand, sea, and sky assembling that familiar picture of a day settling down…

Sunbeams travel low through the atmosphere and make an unreal spectrum. Everything sinks into those tones, a gradient from blazing red to deep blue…

With a little distance, the view from Biševo toward the island of Sveti Andrija, where a copper ball melts away, looks like a film about far-off tropical islands. What secret, lazy, passionately mysterious things happen in an atmosphere like this?
We were only passing by, strolling with nowhere urgent to be. We captured a scene that is almost ordinary to us and yet impossible to see enough of.
A sunset cannot be caught. We cannot own it. It is a moment of complete inspiration and total release.
