School Program and Philosophy

Verbasana Yoga School offers a unique opportunity to participate in a Yoga Teacher Training program that follows the international standards of Yoga Alliance.
The program covers fundamental and advanced aspects of yoga — asanas, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, anatomy, energy practices, pedagogy and teaching methodology — through an integrated approach that nurtures the balance of body, breath, mind and spirit.
The education is designed to provide an authentic yoga experience, based on the traditional teachings of India, but adapted to modern life and the needs of today’s man.
Upon completion of the education, participants receive a 200-hour certificate from the Verbasana Yoga School, which, for an additional fee, can be verified by the Ministry of the Republic of Croatia and entered into a workbook.
The school is registered with the Yoga Alliance, which will make your certificate internationally recognized.

Our mission

The mission of the Verbasana Yoga School is to provide the highest level of education in yoga, encourage personal growth and create a community of teachers and practitioners who live yoga — not only on the mat, but also in everyday life.
Our vision is to combine the ancient wisdom of the East with modern approaches to the body and consciousness, so that each student gains not only knowledge, but also a life-changing yoga experience.

Why Verbasana?
Our school combines Eastern wisdom and a contemporary approach, connecting traditional Hatha and Vinyasa yoga with modern knowledge of the body, breathing, energy and awareness.
In addition to the basic practice of Hatha Vinyasa yoga, we also teach Restorative Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga and Prenatal Yoga. Education takes place in Zagreb (Vlaška 80) and online, with the possibility of online access.
