Na primer, ljubljeni osebi \u017eelimo sre\u010do in to misel posku\u0161amo podpreti s \u010dustvom veselja in vizualizacijo osebe, ki ji jo \u017eelimo. Na ta na\u010din je misel dobre volje usmerjena k resni\u010dnemu \u017eivemu bitju in ima \u010dustveno komponento, ki jo nosi. Ko smo v stanju dobrohotne ljubezni, smo osvobojeni strahu, tesnobe, slabih misli do sebe in drugih ter naravno rastemo v svoji sposobnosti razumevanja in potrpe\u017eljivosti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Metta meditacija nam pomaga, da damo podporo in vero v dobro srce, ki ga vsi nosimo v sebi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nekatere najpogostej\u0161e misli, ki se tradicionalno ponavljajo, so: naj bom sre\u010den, naj bom varen, naj bom zdrav, naj rastem v ljubezni in so\u010dutju.
